Fallout 4 mods queued but not downloading

Have you guys tried to download the mod manually then use NMM to install from archive? It works like the "Download With Manager" but, it install from the rar or 7z archive you have locally. Yes you can, but if you enable direct downloading of mods from Nexus to Vortex, then when you try to download to Fallout 4 it assumes you want to use Vortex AND then direct download the Skyrim it is still assuming you are using Vortex. So I suggest you do not use the direct download feature to Vortex. When you're done with Fallout 4 (or are just starting out), you may want to install a mod or few. One day I decided that I wanted to play fallout 4, but when I attempted to load a previous save, it said something like: "are you sure you want to load without" then it listed all my mods with the .esp or .esm endings. Now the custom radios aren´t playing anything anymore and when I want to download something it just stays queued and won´t start downloading.
